In this month's editorial, Dr Sarina Schrager notes that while physicians routinely act as leaders, they receive little formal leadership training. Evidence on effective leadership education in medicine, especially family medicine, is limited and inconsistent. Training programs exist, but their impact is unknown, highlighting the need for more thorough research and structured curricula to promote this important trait.
