Watching you close

A hysterotomy before graduation

I thought of my surgical mentors

My nostalgia got the better of me

I asked which attendings influenced you the most

Mine are always still present with me in the OR

I watched you teach the intern several techniques

You had forgotten I taught you

Your hands gave better replies than your words
