Looking in the mirror, do I have a choice?
Damaged hair, I need relief.
Dreadlocks? Am I allowed to get THAT relief?
Will my patients judge me?
Will they disrespect me or disregard my opinion?
Will they think less of me?
Please see me for me. I am more than just my hair

Looking at the list of doctors, do I have a choice?
Not being heard, I need a change

There she is, she looks like me, she sees me.
