Feet tumbled toward me in greeting. I exchanged my contaminated work clothes, listened to the cacophony of news: a newly wiggly tooth, a crashed ship, an urgent report of an errant elbow that either “whacked” or “accidentally tapped” an unsuspecting ear. Hugs tangled my weary legs as I notice a dandelion perched on my nightstand.
