Methodological Briefs

Methodological Briefs are concise review articles covering selected topics in medical education research methods. Methodological Briefs are not reports of one particular study, but rather offer brief synopses of quantitative or qualitative data collection, analytic techniques, study designs, survey or interview methods, and overcoming common problems experienced in research. The primary audience for these articles is junior primary care faculty who are interested in completing an educational research project and who don’t have a background in research methods.
