Being an amateur nephologist (not nephrologist!) and photographer teaches many lessons and promotes a mindset that permeates into all aspects of life, including medicine. The profound interactions of light and matter reward the curious who are willing to see, with awe and gratitude. Being curious and patient with those in our care returns the same rewards.
